My name is Mrs. Langley-Haner, and I am the new K-2 Art Teacher at Delaney School!  I come to Wrentham after completing my Master's of Art in Teaching from Tuft's University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2016.  I believe that art education is for everyone! I implement student-centered teaching and art curricula that is built on big ideas, state standards and interdisciplinary studies. I love connecting my art lessons with children's literature.

I am so excited for the upcoming school year! Students at Delaney are imaginative and excited to make art! Every student has wonderful potential. Below are my objectives for each grade along with some sample projects.  I hope that my students will learn new art techniques while also making connections to subjects outside of the art classroom.

On the first of of Art Class, my students discuss the rules of a happy art class.

A - Always be kind

R - Respect each other

T - Take care of supplies

I - Inside voices

S - Share your ideas

T - Try your best!

Interested in helping out in the art room?  I will schedule parent volunteers as needed for specific projects as the year progresses. Stay tuned!

I you are able to make any small donation to our art classroom, we would be very grateful! Donations will be used for unique art projects, storage and cleanup.
